CERTIFIED GERIATRIC CARE MANAGER · CHAPLAIN · ADVOCATE

Melissa Fretwell brings something rare to care management: credentials that span education, spiritual care, and healthcare — and the lived wisdom that only comes from decades of working alongside people in their most vulnerable moments.

She spent 18 years as a special education teacher, where she learned to navigate complex systems, advocate fiercely for individuals who needed a stronger voice, and communicate across professional and family boundaries with patience. Then a decade as a hospital and hospice chaplain deepened her capacity to sit with people during life's hardest chapters.

Those years gave her an unusually well-rounded foundation for care management — equal parts practical and deeply human.

"When I'm with a family, I know immediately what kind of support they need. My goal is for them to feel that same clarity and warmth the moment they connect with us."

OUR PHILOSOPHY

Rooted in PaJaMaS.

Everything we do is guided by a core framework: PaJaMaS — Peace, Joy, Mercy, and Safety. These aren't abstract ideals. They're the four things we believe every person deserves to experience in their care, no matter how complex their situation.

This framework shapes how we listen, how we plan, and how we show up for every family we serve.
